Organic Carnauba Wax (T1 Grade)
Organic Carnauba Wax is a plant-derived wax harvested from the leaves of the Brazilian palm Copernicia cerifera. Known as the hardest natural wax, it has a high melting point, firm texture, and light characteristic aroma.
Carnauba wax is produced in several grades, with T1 representing the highest quality and purity available. T1-grade wax is lighter in colour than lower grades and is supplied in small flake form for ease of formulation.
In cosmetic and personal care formulations, carnauba wax is valued for its ability to add structure, thickness, and stability. It is commonly used in deodorants, lip products, creams, balms, solid perfumes, and hair styling formulations.
Carnauba wax acts as a hardening and thickening agent, improves heat resistance, enhances texture, and contributes a subtle surface sheen. It blends well with other waxes, oils, and butters and is often used to fine-tune product consistency.
Because only a small amount is required in most formulations, this wax is offered in a convenient 25 g size suitable for small-batch and experimental formulation work.
